Refund policy

Returns & Refunds

This policy applies to purchases from TagCharge. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Change of mind — 30 days

If you change your mind, you may return an item within 30 days of delivery for a refund, provided that:

  • the item is unused and in its original condition; and
  • the blister pack is unopened and intact.

Why the pack must be unopened: our coin cells are supplied in child-resistant packaging that complies with AS 5808:2020. Once that packaging has been opened we cannot verify the condition or safety of the cells, and we are not able to resell them. For that reason we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on opened battery packs. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if a product is faulty.

Return postage for change-of-mind returns is at your own cost, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, or the product does not perform as it should, contact us and we will make it right. We cover return postage in these cases. Where there is a major failure you may choose a refund or a replacement; where the failure is minor we may repair or replace the item.

Expected battery performance

Rechargeable coin cells have a finite service life and gradually lose capacity through normal use and charging. Gradual capacity loss over time is normal behaviour for a rechargeable cell and is not considered a fault. A cell that fails to charge, or will not hold any meaningful charge from the outset, is a fault — please contact us.

LIR2032 cells hold less energy per charge than single-use CR2032 batteries and will need recharging more often. This is a characteristic of the product rather than a defect, and is described on our product pages.

How to request a return

Contact us at fengastro247@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the issue (photos help for damaged items). We will confirm the return address and the correct way to send the item back.

Please do not post batteries back to us before contacting us. Lithium batteries are subject to transport rules, and we will tell you how to package and send them safely and lawfully.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we aim to process refunds within 5 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the funds.
